General description of the Workshop
This 2-day workshop is based on the COBIT 2019 Framework. It is aimed at preparing auditors to
audit I&T based on the requirements of COBIT 2019.
This Workshop is a combination of discussions and hands-on work.
Who Should Attend
This course is intended for audit professionals’ others who intend to learn about governance and
audit based on COBIT.
Course Objectives
The course content is aligned to “COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Program” course offered by
ISACA. The participants shall be prepared to pass the COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate Exam.
The course outline is as follows.
• Recognize the context, benefits and key reasons COBIT is used as an information and
technology governance framework.
• Explain the key attributes of the COBIT framework
• Compare the COBIT principles for governance system framework.
•Describe the components of a governance system
•Describe the elements of governance and management objectives.
• Differentiate COBIT based performance management using maturity and capability
perspectives.
• Discover how to design a tailored governance system using COBIT.
•Explain the key points of the COBIT business case.
•Describe the relationships between the COBIT Design and Implementation Guides.
•Prepare for the COBIT 2019 Foundation exam
