This course is designed to provide an overview of the most important components of Diesel Engine and the function of each, as well as auxiliary system such as lubrication system, cooling system and different methods used for startup of Diesel Engine. It also discusses Diesel Engine specifications, system operation, lubrication, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and adjusting as well as a detailed account of the causes of engine malfunctions and their solutions.
