General description of the Workshop
This 3-day workshop is based on standards and best practices.
The attendees shall also learn of auditing governance.

This course is intended for audit professionals and others who wish to learn about GRC.
Course Objectives
The objective of this workshop is to give ADNOC professionals a view of governance, risk and
controls based on international standards and best practices.
Upon completion of this course, participants shall have –
- A basic understanding of Governance, Risk and Control;
- An understanding of the governance structure in their Company, the different assurance
providers and their relationship to internal audit; - An understanding of the concept of governance, risk management and internal control
frameworks and their applicability to internal audit; - An understanding of the roles and responsibilities of management in the implementation
of governance components, management of risk and establishment of internal controls
within the organization; and - An understanding of the governance-related audit assignments in the ADNOC Group
