Lesson aims – the aims of the session are to: 
Occupational Health & Safety Awareness is a multi-disciplinary approach to developing and ensuring compliance with regulatory authority, safe working practices, and maintaining the health and well-being of those employed in an organization. This session aims to provide delegates with an understanding of various occupational health and safety (OHS) management systems and best practices available to develop and apply the right system that improves environmental and economic performance, reduces lost worker time due to accidents and illness, and meets increasingly stringent government regulations and customer requirements. 

Objectives (learning outcomes) – by the end of the session Delegates should be able to 

  • Understand the requirements of an HSE management system based upon ISO 45001  
  • Understand the requirements of an HSE management system based upon OSHAD -SF 
  • Understand the requirements of an HSE management system based upon American and British standards. 
  • Maintain a safe culture and act safely. 

Assessment of Learning
A short assessment with a few multiple-choice questions will be given at the end of the session
