As per guidelines of OSHAD-SF – Code of Practice 23.0 – Work at Height.
The choice of access equipment for any job involving the outer portion of a high-rise building, window washing, or exterior work will be determined by the height to be negotiated, site circumstances, duration and scope of work, and frequency of access. For many bigger structures, cradles are an ideal type of access for external window cleaning and other exterior activities, such as maintenance. This Nationally Recognized course has been developed to provide participants with a theory and practical knowledge of equipment requirements and safe work methods to be used when working at heights.
Persons who are required to work in areas where there may be a risk of falling and those who may be required to act as standby personnel and manage or supervise persons required to work at heights.
