Course Overview

This course is based on OSHAD COP 27.0 “Confined Space Entry” and other international standards of OSHA.  

Confined space means any place, including tanks, vessels, pipes, sewers, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, pits, excavations, manholes or other similar space that by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk.  

Candidates of this course will be provided with knowledge on how to work in areas of confined spaces and this training includes the procedures and safe working practices to follow.

Learning Objectives

Learners will have the requisite information to allow recurring and safe access to such work activities after finishing this course, as well as a thorough understanding of "working in a confined space”.

Learners will Gain a mastery o the pre-use personal protective equipment checks

Learners will be able to identify areas of danger within the confined space and apply the appropriate control measures to eliminate or reduce the hazards.

This highly practical and interactive course has been specifically designed for:

Persons who are required to work in areas where there may be a risk of unhealthy atmosphere,  associated hazards and guidance and require the corresponding practical skills necessary for entry into a confined space. As well as those who may be required to act as rescue personnel and manage or supervise persons’ evacuation from confined space.
